{ Our People }
Challenge Africa’s core team currently operate out of two locations –UK and Kenya.
As there is just a two-hour time delay between the countries it means we can easily keep up to date on operational or funding issues, as well as on the finer detail, such as which child in the village needed emergency bed support the previous night. This really helps us to keep on top of any new needs as they arise, as well as really involved at grassroots, across both the continents.
Heading up the UK initiative is Eleanore Regan, Challenge Africa’s founder and CEO, looking after the day to day running of the organisation and ensuring that the charity is delivering in its mission to enable African communities to be self-sufficient and to thrive.
Ele is supported by committed and passionate volunteers, trustees, and supporters.
In Kenya, Eddy Ogillo leads the way on the ground, making sure projects are running smoothly, that our centres are functioning as they should, that needs are being met, and that our beneficiaries are receiving the care that we have committed to show them.
