Mosquito nets making a differenceNine year old Eunice Adhiambo (centre, blue top) is an orphan who lives with her grandmother, brothers and cousins (pictured). She had been suffering with recurrent Malaria until she received a mosquito net in November. Her grandmother says of the nets, “siku hizi wanalala nono” meaning ‘the children sleep deepest now’.
“The nets have had a huge impact on the children of Abimbo; they no longer fall sick and can attend school regularly. We have trained guardians on treating the nets to ensure continued success.” Eddy, Challenge Africa’s Abimbo Director.
