National Tailoring Qualifications for our Students
We are very proud of 6 of the tailoring students taking their national exams this month. Beryl, Lillian and Margaret, all orphaned young women, came to the Challenge Africa Abimbo Centre three years ago looking for a way to support themselves. They now have the skills to work as tailors and on completion of the course will be awarded a sewing machine so they can earn a safe, secure income. They are also supporting new students on the project and making school uniform for village orphans.
